Dave Lockley

Dave Lockley has been an educator for 11 years, 8 years of which have been with the Adams 12 School District as a Social Studies teacher. He currently serves as Vice President of the District Twelve Educators Association (DTEA) and Member of the CEA Board of Directors. He has served our Association in the past as a member of the DTEA Executive Team, a building Association Representative, a representative to the CEA Delegate Assembly, and a member of the DTEA Bargaining Team.

Dave moved out West shortly after his birth in Boston, Mass., living in California and Nevada before settling in Colorado in 1996. Once in Colorado, he attended school in Adams 12 before being accepted to the University of Colorado at Boulder. Upon graduating, he started teaching at the high school level before finding his calling in middle schools. Dave received his Master’s Degree in Education from Regis University.

Dave is a strong advocate for education and works tirelessly to help shape the future of education in Colorado. He and his wife Jamey have two children, Eddie and Ana. Dave is a diehard Colorado Buffaloes fan and he loves being in the outdoors, attending church, watching sports, reading, and spending time with his family.
