Lunch Break with Amie & Kevin: Episode 43
In this week’s Lunch Break, CEA President Amie Baca-Oehlert and CEA Vice President Kevin Vick talk about what you can do to get engaged before the election as well as our ongoing COVID-19 webinar series.
Upcoming Webinar with CEA
Next Wednesday, September 30 at 4:30 PM, join us for a conversation about how to best work with the school health professionals in your community.
Tell Sen. Gardner: Stop Playing Political Games
Instead of working to pass a meaningful relief package, like the HEROES Act, that would help the working people of Colorado and our students, Sen. Cory Gardner has focused his attention on rushing a Supreme Court nomination.
Have you made a plan to vote?
Ballots will be mailed to all registered voters in Colorado starting October 9th.
Have questions about what’s on the ballot or how to vote? Check out the CEA Voter Guide, or visit the Colorado Secretary of State’s website for official voting information.

CEA will be hosting member forums throughout the month of October. This will be a chance to join fellow members from across the state to share your thoughts and ideas about how we can tackle the challenges Colorado’s public schools are facing.
Stay tuned for more information.
No & No on Props 116 & 117
CEA has joined a coalition of organizations against Propositions 116 and 117. These measures will deeply impact Colorado’s state budget and force cuts to key services like public education, transportation, and health care. In the midst of a pandemic, this is not what our Colorado communities need.
For more information on these propositions, visit the coalition website.
As always, if you have content ideas, or if you have a colleague who goes above and beyond and needs a shout out or if you have ideas on how we can improve the CEA Today, please drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.
