I’m a Colorado girl, born in Boulder, attended PreK-8 in Eagle County, Fairview High School in Boulder, and then on to Colorado State University where I earned my BA in International Studies and History. There’s a reason I proudly work for the CEA and not a corporate bank downtown, and that’s because I am incredibly passionate about public education, economic fairness, worker’s rights and civil rights issues. I believe that together, we can make significant, lasting change in Colorado to ensure that every student receives a high quality public education and has ample opportunities to thrive. For the last nine years, I have worked across the country to promote civic engagement by researching, advocating, organizing, educating, fundraising, building coalitions, lobbying and developing plans and activities for labor and community members to get involved in our democracy. Power to the people!
